The Dominican Student Association – QuisqueYalies was founded with the intention of spreading awareness regarding the Dominican experience and culture to the Yale community and beyond. In addition, we aim to unify Dominican students and those interested in the Dominican Republic, in order to more effectively address those issues affecting our community both on campus and beyond. We strive to meet these goals by:

I. Sponsoring informative and social events that will aid in addressing issues concerning Dominicans and other Latinos. These events shall be open to the entire Yale community and beyond.

II. Concentrating our efforts on recruitment and retention of Dominican students by developing academic and personal support networks for undergraduate and graduate students, and establishing networks with professionals and DSA alumni.

III. Striving to serve Dominican communities in the United States and abroad through community service.

IV. Obtaining historical and updated information about the Dominican Republic, in order to act as a resource to the Yale community on Dominican affairs.
